This is one of my favorite photos because Beyonce is one of my favorite artists and both artists are powerful performers

I like this photo because the streak is so bright against the sky. It also reminds me of a shooting star.

1. Best song of 2014: Take Me To Church-Hozier.
This is my favorite song because it has a sound unlike other popular hits. Its very haunting while still being catchy. Also, in the music video, there is a sad storyline meant to bring attention to gay rights, which i think is very positive. This story makes the song meaningful and emotional instead of solely to entertain ( however its still very entertaining)

2. Best Movie of 2014: The Heat.
When this was in theaters i saw it twice. It is so funny and i actually could control my laughter in the theatre even after the scene ended. It had original jokes and two talented and hilarious actresses. I think it had good contrast between the two which created a very feel good character development.

3. The top News story of 2014: Ferguson
This is the top news story because i had the strongest opinions toward this subject. I kept myself the most updated on this because of how mad the situation made me. I didn't agree with how anything was handled and felt like i needed to know what was happening 24/7. This situation ended up spawning more conflict which i also have strong opinions about.

4. Most important person of 2014: Beyonce
Beyonce is important because of how successful she is. She had a baby and also surprise dropped an album that still hit number one and stayed at the top of the charts. From the songs she created iconic sayings and top hits. She was also able to keep her fame and success still after all these years. She has performed at the Superbowl halftime, the VMA's, met the royal family, etc.

5. Biggest Sports Story of 2014: Ray Rice
Even though I'm not too into sports, this story was big enough even for me to hear about. Even though he showed domestic violence by punching and dragging his fiancé out of an elevator he was simply only suspended and may return to the NFL. This caused such an uproar for the Ravens and the player himself.


1. Over the holidays I was given my great grandmothers ring as a present.
2. My news years resolution is to take better care of my body by eating healthier and staying fit. This also includes managing stress.
3. Im looking forward to spending christmas 2015 with my family who lives in California. I rarely see them and can go to Disney with them.
